I NEED YOUR HELP!
Well, I’ve been working for a year now doing some things helping the problem of stray dogs and cats in my city. But sadly it’s a pretty serious issue and there are pretty few people who are doing something really significant. The main problem where I live is that people don’t sterilize their mascots and then when it’s too much of a problem they just “let them free”.
Yesterday I found a family of cats in dangerous conditions. The kittens are still pretty small. But I already have 10 cats and 2 dogs (all of them where stray animals once, except for our older dog). My house is small so you could imagine that even if I’m trying, I can’t have more cats with me: we are already 16 beings in total in a one-story small house and it gets crazy, difficult and expensive.
And finding good homes is difficult and slow.
So I’m offering little commissions to raise money. The objectives are these:
Raise enough money to sterilize stray cats. Every cat costs $35 USD. I already have 4 cats in need and the kittens will grow soon.
Raise enough money to get them to the vet and “de-worming” them (is it how it’s say in english?). That’s around another $12 USD per cat, but it depends on the size. I hope the kittens can pass as just one big cat xD
Raise enough money for an old second-hand pet carrier of $30. When the cats have just been sterilize, one of this is pretty useful. Right now I’ve been having problems without one since the neighbour who lend me one lost it ):
This won’t be for my 10 cats, I have already spent a lot on them with a lot of sacrifices xD and they are good, sterilize, lazy, happy and all.
This will be for stray cats. There are always stray cats and it seems my own cats promote our house as a shelter between their fellows.
And I’m sick and sad to turn them down. Even if I can’t have them or get them a home, if they are sterilize they won’t be having more and more stray kittens ):
I’m offering little commissions and you can give whatever you want, I’m not putting a price. Even 1 USD will be happily welcomed!
